Revitalising an international ASX-listed explorer’s brand and investor communications

When Castillo Copper approached Gilligan Group in 2023, their company was at a pivot point. Internally, they had been undertaking a strategic portfolio review to determine the best path forward for a successful future direction.

With assets across Zambia and Australia, Castillo Copper acknowledged a need for considered strategic partnerships to develop their identified core operations. To best present to prospective partners, the Company knew their brand identity needed an uplift.

As always, we began work by benchmarking our clients against their peers to identify opportunities for capitalisation. As they wanted to retain their existing palette and shapes, to maintain continuity we updated their logo with refined motif, type/font and colour scheme reminiscent of the old.

We extended the brand refresh across collateral useful for investor relations and engagement. We designed a fresh investor presentation PowerPoint, ASX announcement and quarterly template, eNews and social media templates.

We also identified various ways the Castillo Copper website could be modernised and enhanced to improve functionality and alignment with the new brand. To continue to deliver tangible results while meeting budgetary constraints, our digital team carried out website upgrades in a phased approach within a monthly retainer.

With a fresh brand identity, Castillo Copper has a stylish visual identity that demonstrates their currency and showcases their assets and strategy in a better light. Their website is more functional and attractive, established to improve their perception in the eyes of investors and partners.
