Our Team

Gilligan Group’s Perth based marketing strategy consultants give you a clear roadmap for competitive communications and digital initiatives that reach your buyer. There’s no template or prescription for an industry as unique as yours. We uncover the opportunities and give you the brand representation to deliver commercial returns.

A team that really understands business

As Australia’s leading marketing strategy consultants, we are held in high regard for our ability to market technical industries. From mining ventures to investor relations, engineering brands and global supply and procurement strategies – we love understanding what makes you successful, how that idea came about and where your aspirations lie. It’s our job to turn technical into commercial, to turn stories into news, to turn text-heavy into visual, to create a strategy from opportunity.

All we ask is for a bit of trust, respect, and honesty – we’ll do the rest and perhaps we’ll even have some FUN! We don’t rest until the job is done, our clients benefit from our business networks and our willingness to go the extra mile. We see it as our business to ensure your business is flourishing – and when times are tough, we won’t rest until we have had an impact on your bottom line.

Marketing Strategy Consultants that Deliver Commercial Results

Skye Gilligan

Entrepreneur and communications strategist, Skye loves an opportunity to show how the considered blending of beautiful content and design can positively change a company’s total identity. Skye has more than 18 years’ combined experience in the mining, ICT, professional services, engineering and construction sectors across Australia, the UK and Africa, which she considers her grounding in writing for and advising leaders in technical industries. Skye has developed an Australian and international portfolio of clients and maintains a personal passion for improving quality of life and access to education in African nations. When she is not strategising, you’ll find her relaxing with a glass of wine in hand, enjoying friendships and family, or giving time to her favourite charities – the Norkama Project and Wheelchairs for Kids.

Rhett Ardon

Our resident online guru, Rhett thrives on the challenge of bringing digital projects to life from concept to completion. Balancing his creativity and astute project management skills, Rhett sees every aspect of digital marketing as an opportunity for organisations to connect with new and existing customers and solve business problems. When he’s not delving into the minutiae of wireframes or mapping out a UX plan, you’ll find Rhett jogging a moderate distance before work, hanging at Mount Lawley bars or listening to drum and bass with a Pale Ale not far away.

Ashleigh Baxter

A driven marketer who loves taking a campaign from concept through to implementation, Ash works across our diverse client base upholding key relationships and keeping major projects on track. Known for her sunny disposition, rock-solid logic and flair for the written word, Ash focuses on brand execution across all touchpoints and supports the team in delivering major events and PR programs. A farm girl at heart, Ash grew up in Woodanilling, but these days calls Perth home, where she enjoys socialising with friends, heading to the beach and tending to a much smaller ‘crop’ of indoor plants.

Alistair Hinchliffe

A specialist in customer acquisition and retention, Ali’s background in finance allows him to analyse each business he works with like a personal investment. Using data driven analysis, Ali uncovers a client’s strengths and opportunities for growth, breaking down executable strategies designed to increase online market share and brand visibility. Passionate about helping clients expand their digital reach, Ali focuses on optimising website functionality to boost user engagement and increase conversion performance. An explorer at heart, Ali feels most at home when he is not at home. His most treasured places exist in the Rocky Mountains of British Columbia or along the endless beaches of the Western Australian coastline.

Sam Coombs

Sam has been writing professionally for a number of years with her work appearing in several diverse print and digital publications. With a passion for words, Sam understands the power of expressive and meaningful content and how the right words can assist with both brand management and sales conversions.
